Surge Protector for Your Critical Substation Instrumentation

This product is designed to protect sensitive substation instrumentation equipment from the damaging effects of lightning strikes and/or electrical switching surges such as breaker operations, reclosing events, etc. The unit protects critical instrumentation in both AC networks up to 320VAC (L-N / L-G), and DC networks up to 400 VDC. The EI-MSB10-400 protects substation equipment from dangerous spikes and transients by absorbing the event with a multi-stage transient suppression scheme, before critical equipment is reached.

The EI-MSB10-400 is ideally suited to protect relays, meters, panel alarms, telemetry or any other critical substation equipment. The unit provides an indication LED which provides indication that the surge suppressor MOVs are exhausted and that the unit needs replacing.
